Industry makes the everyday goods we rely on — and its pollution harms people’s health and the planet. Join us in transforming industry for climate, jobs, and justice.

Impact

We are the only organization in the U.S. fully dedicated to industrial decarbonization and transformation. We envision a future where industry itself becomes a solution and where we continue to make everything society needs — steel, cement, aluminum, chemicals — in ways that cut pollution, create good union jobs, and keep communities healthy.

Since our founding in 2021, we have brought heavy industry into the spotlight, advancing unstoppable solutions for its transformation

We have grown the field, conducted rigorous research including first-of-their-kind tools like the Industrial Equity Mapper, and partnered with community leaders, technical experts, unions, and manufacturers.

We’ve successfully secured federal funding for innovative projects and passed laws to support businesses to transition to clean manufacturing.

Ways to give

We accept a variety of ways of giving to our 501(c)3 organization, Industrious Education Fund, and encourage you to consider which option fits best for you. If you’re thinking about how to maximize your impact, you might consider giving through non-cash assets (stocks, mutual funds, or other investments). For some donors, this approach aligns well with both personal financial goals and a commitment to the causes they care deeply about. We encourage you to consult your financial or tax advisor to determine what giving option is best for you.

Online:

Give directly.

Donor Advised Funds (DAFs):

We’ve linked the handy DAF Direct tool to make it easy for you to give directly from your DAF.

Stocks:

Giving stocks can help you maximize your giving and decrease your tax burden - learn more here. For more information, reach out to us at contact@industriouslabs.org.

IRA distribution/Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD):

Donors of age (70.5 years old) who have an IRA are required to take a distribution each year. If you donate some or all of your distribution to charity, you avoid capital gains tax. Learn more. We encourage you to talk to your advisor about this option.
